In 2016, I earned my bachelor's degree in "Foreign Philology" from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan). During my undergraduate studies, I developed a keen interest in the research field of Second and Third Language Acquisition, as well as the unique functioning of the bilingual brain. This fascination led me to pursue further academic endeavors. Given the absence of a specialized program in "Applied Linguistics" in Kazakhstan, I pursued a master's degree in "Translation Studies." As part of my master's program, I had the enriching opportunity to study at Salzburg University (Austria) during a winter semester exchange program. It was during this time that I delved deeply into the course on "Applied Linguistics," which sparked my inspiration to conduct my own research experiment. In 2019, I secured a PhD position in "Linguistics" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Here, I embarked on a neurolinguistic experiment utilizing EEG technology connected to the E-Prime platform within the laboratory of the “Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Neuroscience”. Additionally, I undertook an internship at Salzburg University (Austria), within the research group "Neurobiology of Language" at the Department of Linguistics, University of Salzburg. This experience not only enhanced my expertise in “EEG, R, BrainVision Analyzer”, and related tools but also strengthened my skills in critical analysis and academic writing. Concurrently with my PhD pursuit, I have worked as a Lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University since 2022.
